22 May Halifax West High School Clean-Up

We joined forces with Halifax West High School for the first round of their bi-annual clean-up.
Over 250 students tackled various areas around the school, and within an hour, so much garbage had been collected that the large green bins in the back of the school had to be emptied out — twice!
Thank you to the students of Halifax West, and school staff, Marilyn MacGibbon and Jennifer Fougere.
My office staff and I were very happy to join them and to continue the challenge of making Clayton Park West the cleanest riding in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
I know the lessons the youth learned will stick with them for the rest of their lives.
Let’s continue to keep the litter off of the streets!
