30 Jun Happy Canada Day!
I am so thankful that Canada became my home and my country 35 years ago… and I have never looked back, as this country and the Province of Nova Scotia welcomed me with open arms. It also gave me many opportunities to study and work, and raise my family.
Most importantly, it gave me the opportunity to give back through volunteerism and work as an interpreter.
It is a great honour to serve as an MLA in a community that I have loved and cherished for many years.
Happy Canada Day weekend to all my constituents and to all Canadians across this amazing socially conscious and progressive country!
