Art of Disability Festival Logo Contest

A fantastic opportunity has come up for Nova Scotians with disabilities who are looking to
showcase their creative and artistic abilities!

From April 1st till April 30th, Independent Living Nova Scotia (ILNS) is hosting a contest for those who live in Nova Scotia, and self-identify as a person with a disability, to create a new
logo for their annual Art of Disability Festival.

The Festival, usually taking place in mid-August, is a low-cost opportunity for artists with disabilities to feature, display and sell their craft.

The winner of the contest will not only have their logo as the new permanent emblem of the Art
of Disability Festival, but they will also receive $250, along with media exposure and an invitation to
be a featured vendor at the festival.

Logo submissions must come through their online form as a digital file and incorporate the
Independent Living Nova Scotia’s brand colors (white, black, navy blue and light blue) and
include references to their mission and values.
