07 Jul Border Tracking Form for Non-Bubble Travellers to Nova Scotia Now Online
The border tracking form for individuals travelling to Nova Scotia from outside the Atlantic Canada bubble is now available online.
All non-Atlantic Canadian travelers must fill out the tracking and self-declaration form. It is available at: https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/alerts-notices/Self-declaration-Form-Tracking-Travellers-to-Nova-Scotia.pdf
The form must be completed prior to entry to Nova Scotia. It can be completed electronically and emailed to border@novascotia.ca or by paper and presented at the border. Non-bubble visitors are also advised to have identification available to confirm their residency.
The form requires non-bubble visitors to provide an address where they will be self-isolating for 14 days and a phone number where they can be reached 24/7.
Provincial staff will contact non-bubble visitors every day to ensure they are complying with the 14-day self-isolation requirement. Provincial law requires visitors from outside the Atlantic Canadian region to do so.
If non-bubble visitors do not answer their phone after three calls in one day, police will be called and in-person checks will be conducted. The fine for violating the Health Protection Order is $1,000 for a first offence.
