The province is seeking nominations for the 2020 Medal of Bravery.
Those who live in the province are asked to nominate anyone who has courageously put themselves at risk to help protect others or protect property.
Nomination forms are available at the offices of members of the legislative assembly, Access Nova Scotia centres, and also by visiting: http://www.novascotia.ca/bravery.
Completed nomination forms should be sent to: Provincial Secretary, Medal of Bravery, Department of Justice, 7th floor, 1690 Hollis St., Halifax, NS, B3J 2L6.
Acts of bravery that happened on or after January 1, 2017 are eligible.
A total of 42 Nova Scotians have been awarded the Medal of Bravery since 2008.
The deadline for nominations is May 1st.
