This weekend, September 18-20, is the Italian Canadian Cultural Association of Nova Scotia’s Italian Weekend To-Go!

Individuals can choose to order fresh or frozen Italian meals online or by phone and then pick up your food via curbside pickup. There are many delicious meals to choose from, including gnocchi, meat and vegetable lasagna, penne pasta with homemade sauce, cannelloni with spinach and ricotta, stuffed pepper with meat and rice, and pizza margherita. Decadent desserts are also available, including crostoli, cannoli with cream, cannoli with ricotta, and peach cookie.

The event will be happening 5-9PM on Friday, 12-9PM on Saturday, and 12-8PM on Sunday.

To order by phone, please call 902-453-5327 and allow for 90 minutes in advance for pick-up.

My husband, John, and I are volunteering with the ICCA on Friday. I have been volunteering at Italian Weekend for over 30 years! It is a great way to reconnect with our friends and family, especially after lockdown and social distancing policies to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
