Update on COVID-19

Today, March 25th, Nova Scotia has 68 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

None of these cases are from spread within the community; the cases are travel-related and/or connected to earlier reported cases.

Cases have been identified in all parts of Nova Scotia.

One individual remains in hospital. Two individuals have recovered and their cases of COVID-19 are considered resolved.

Public health has been in contact with these individuals, and they are also working on identifying those who have come in contact with them.

A state of emergency was declared under the Emergency Management Act on March 22nd.

It will remain in effect until April 5th at 12 p.m.
