28 Dec Happy New Year, 2020!

As your MLA for Clayton Park West, I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and prosperous 2020!

It has been an exceptional year, especially for the Province of Nova Scotia.

In 2019, more people worked full-time jobs than ever before in Nova Scotia’s history.

The population reached its highest peak to date thanks to those moving to Nova Scotia from across Canada and internationally.

For the third consecutive year, we had the highest number of young people stay in the province to build their lives here at home.

Our exports are more diverse than ever before and we saw record tourism revenues, which has boosted Nova Scotia’s economy.

Our province’s credit rating is at a record high, which means more private investors are doing business here.

Lastly, our province has introduced three consecutive balanced budgets, with the fourth coming soon, while making unprecedented investments in healthcare and education.

I am very thankful for all the blessings we have received in this province. We are truly lucky to live in Nova Scotia.
