On February 5th, the Honourable Geoff MacLellan MLA – Glace Bay announced that he will not re-offer in the next provincial election.

He has been representing the people of Glace Bay since 2010, and has been a key part of our government, holding several important portfolios in:
-Transportation
-Business
-Energy and trade

…always with a focus on driving economic development in our province!
It has been such a pleasure to work with Geoff. He has immense dedication to his caucus members and was an exceptional House Leader.

Geoff is also an amazing communicator and was able to maneuver and de-escalate situations with ease. He showed all of us his commitment – and did it all with charisma and a wonderful sense of humour. He cares deeply about his colleagues, and his constituents, alike.

Minister MacLellan is now looking forward to spending more time with his young children, Georgia and Daniel.
