03 Dec Phoenix Christmas Lunch 2019
I attended the Phoenix Christmas Lunch today at the Cunard Centre, where over 1,000 people attended.
The event was well organized, and the room and tables were beautifully decorated!
It is always heartwarming to hear the incredible stories of the young people who have been served by Phoenix House, and are able to turn their life around… and most importantly, follow their dreams thanks to the care and mentoring they receive from staff. They even refer to it as their second home.
David Miles performed with the band, and Phoenix House raised $5,500 for the band to perform at someone’s upcoming Christmas party.
A big thank you to David Miles for the wonderful entertainment.
Also, a major thank you to Phoenix House who always help those in need every day.
Overall, $20,000 was raised.
It was the perfect way to kick-off the holiday season!
