08 Dec Post-Secondary Students Receive COVID-19 Response Grant

Students have had numerous obstacles in the face of COVID-19.

The global health crisis has necessitated new ways of learning – and has caused financial hardship for many young people across the province. That’s why our government is providing eligible post-secondary students with a one-time COVID-19 Response Grant of $750.

All recipients of Nova Scotia Student Assistance will benefit from this extra support, to help cover shortfalls in earnings and unexpected costs associated with their studies.

This will also address challenges in obtaining summer employment and part-time jobs while ensuring students who are most in need still receive the quality education they deserve.
