It is with excitement and great pleasure that I share a program that has only been implemented in a few local pharmacies, one being the Rockingham Guardian pharmacy on Farnham Gate Road.
#TheBloomProgram is the mental health and addiction community pharmacy partnership program in Nova Scotia.
The program’s main focus is to support those with mental illnesses and addictions.
Those eligible for the program are able to receive comprehensive medical information and also management information. The pharmacy also offers quick and easy access to the program.
The Bloom Program is funded by Mental Health and Addictions at the Department of Health and Wellness.
It aims to improve the well-being and health of the patient, and addresses medication-related issues.
