Veteran’s week, November 5 to 11, is an important time for us to reflect on our shared history, remember our veterans, and thank service members for all they do to keep us safe. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War- a bitter conflict that raged over six years and saw over a million Canadians serve.
This Veteran’s Week, on Remembrance Day, and every day, let us honour the sacrifices made by our service members and their families in the name of freedom, universal human rights, and a better future for all Canadians.
