16 May Zoom Meetings

Yesterday, my office was able to coordinate a Zoom meeting with the three levels of government in our riding; myself, MP Geoff Regan, our Federal representative, and Councillor Russell Walker.

We discussed the Canada Student Service Grant (CSSG) and the Canada Service Corps to see how these federal programs can help our youth and our community litter prevention initiative.

We hope that the Friends of Clayton Park Society and our Litter Prevention Committee leads, Jayne Hawkins and Michele Di Quinzio, will work with the youth and other strong advocates to advance this positive idea initiated by Mr. Robert Manzer — a dedicated member of Clayton Park West.

I want to thank everyone for their passion for our community. I know when we all work together, we can accomplish great things!
